Patricia Becker Stephen Fofanoff is a great teacher because he is an excellent communicator, is passionate about his work and is extremely knowledgeable. Many teachers are bright but have no way of imparting what they know to others. Stephen is a master at breaking information down and making it clear. he also knows when to check to see if you are keeping up with him by asking, politely, if you understand. i have never felt afraid to have stephen review something for me or add more information so i was able to "get it." he is incredibly accommodating. His passion is what makes learning from him so easy. he has enthusiasm and a true joy for what he does and it keeps you interested and alert. my only regret is not having teachers like stephen when i was in high school. i would have learned to love school!
